Our work

  A word: love. More words: love for the mountains. We have started climbing together in 1998 and this is what we love to do the most, having done over 750 multipitch climbs on close to 130 different routes. But we do LOVE to go ski tourung, mountain biking and hiking too! :) Alpinizam.org founders: Igor and Vesna Talevski

  First and foremost: our website! A voice since 2005. A voice of our within. It is in Macedonian language and we started it so that we could share our experiences in the mountains: to inspire and teach and today there are hundreds of written and translated articles and photos.

  Having chosen that path, to try to inspire and teach, we also started organizing presentations by other friends and colleagues from the vertical world, the first one being by the Bulgarian alpinist Dojcin Bojanov in 2006 in Skopje. In 2010 we started organizing a 4 day, free of charge event, that today is known by the name: Echo Mountain Film Festival!

  The first book that we've translated/published: a biography of the great Polish alpinist Jerzy Kukuczka, by the author Petar Atanasov! With the help of the Polish Embassy, this book was offered to the audience in 2014. In 2016 it was Messner's "The seventh grade". Other titles waiting for their turn, so be ready :)

  In 2010 we started offering climbing as an after school activity to the QSI International School of Skopje's students. We receive immense inspiration by their sincere and simple joy that they get from the climbing on their school's climbing wall, but especially when they get to go on a field trip and to climb on the rocks in the Matka canyon.

  We have been involved in the work of the Macedonian Alpinie Climbing Federation too, where Igor is the President since 2012. We organize different kinds of activities for all levels of athletes in different climbing venues.

  In 2012 we started working on a new project: Outdoor.mk - an outdoor store selling cycling, hiking and skiing equipment. Being part of the community for 20 years and more, we try to make the best offer, having great communication with world renowned companies in this field.
